The Maverick Builder Rule of Einstein

The Maverick Builder rule of Einstein is "your job will never be any bigger than your imagination makes it."

Daniel Burnham, the turn-of-the-century architect and civic planner whose plan for the 1893 Chicago World's Fair had an enormous influence on contemporary civic design, was quoted as saying, "Make no little plans." He knew that to achieve great things we must have grand ideas. If you can imagine it, you can create it. And if you can create in your imagination the job that you would like to have, it is possible to create it in the real world.

Most business people (Realtors included) operate with a mind-set that assumes success comes one small step at a time.  What a mistake.  Who teaches this concept to the unassuming, but it is clearly reflected in the way most people function.  You can see it in the way they prospect for clients, grow their businesses, and build their careers.  These types of thoughts carry over into their personal lives.

These same business people strive day to day to make small gains.  Some even just want to merely hold their own.  This type of direction will erode your pathway to success.

Another problem with this growth pattern is you keep working harder and harder for your business.  You cannot see with these blinders on.  The success pathway needs your business to work harder for you.

So if you're going to give you business an explosive jump in results that put you ahead of the pack, you can't do it by following the same practices that you and the pack have been following.

Let's imagine your business taking Giant Steps!

Taking Giant Steps is focusing on successful practices in other industries.  You will be amazed at how easily you can adapt these ideas to your own business.

Taking Giant Steps is adopting a possibility based thought process that looks for new, different, and better ways to attain a goal or solution.

Taking Giant Steps is starting to see opportunities where everyone else sees problems, obstacles, limitations, or boundaries.

Taking Giant Steps is recognizing the leverage that surrounds you.

Taking Giant Steps is reaching beyond the traditional way of looking at something and become open and receptive to new and exciting possibilities.

Taking Giant Steps is creating breakthroughs that take away risk or resistance from your prospects.

Taking Giant Steps is developing more value or wealth for your client.

Individuals who innovate and produce breakthroughs lead their field, command more business, keep more business, and take more business from competitors.

Now let's put on our Cardigan sweater, mess up our hair, grab a pipe and let your imagination try to keep up with your stride!
