What Color are You?

I am so tired of hearing the word "Green" this and "Green" that. 

Have we already forgotten the "Jolly Green Giant"?  What about a "Green Thumb", or the "Green Hornet" or the "Green Lantern".  Or the dreaded "Gangrene" or "Green Bananas" or "Green with Envy".

What about the color or money or sea sickness "Green".

These "Green's" are pale now in comparison with the New Power of Green!

So what color are you? 

Light Green?                   You recycle!

Green Green?                 You recycle, but you are conscious in Green" details (programmable thermostat, eco-friendly household products, light bulbs, etc.)

Dark Green?                  You don't mind spending the premium for efficiency to the world from global warming.  (Hybrid Car, Energy efficient products, windmill, geothermal HVAC, etc.)

Well here are a few tips for riding the Green Wave!

 •1.      Go Green NOW!  The world is getting greener every day.  Embrace this social change, leverage this change or you will be left behind.

•2.     Share your Green viewpoint.  Prospects want to work with and buy from builders, homeowners, and investors that share their beliefs to have an impact on global warming.  They want to be part of the solution to reduce our dependency on fossil fuels.  They want you to care as deeply as they do.

•3.     Carve out a Green niche.  Find that place where your clients and prospects can put together tangible value with benefits that are green that they can pay for and appreciate.

•4.     Don't go Green overboard.  Under promise and over deliver on the Green Goods!  No faking, your prospect or client will know the difference.

•5.     Green homes are finally better.  Today you can confidently say that green homes built today are better that the homes built in the past.

Do you know the numbers?

Well, 87% of consumers (clients, prospects or customers) are more likely to buy a home from a builder or owner that is committed to the environment.

Be aware that "Green" may be a sticking point in your research for your client.  Be sure to cover all the bases.  Do your homework and be prepared.

Going Green Just May Double your business and Triple your time of next year!
